jewelry.

This week we talked more in depth about celtic manuscripts and the fine detail, time, and effort put into making them.  One particular item we looked at was an old horse bridle.  I loved the unique flow-y shapes along with the gold and red color.

They made me realize that the same detail and colors are used in many modern celtic jewelry pieces.  Most of the knotwork that can be see in the pieces I have included below, can also be seen in older celtic designs.  Many of symbols are significant in celtic culture still today.

Check out some of these designs.
